Returned to Utah, June 2025
In June 2025, Yovanka Loria Education returned to the USA, this time heading to Utah. Following the strong response to previous US events, the team brought their expert training back stateside for a two-day experience designed to elevate stylists' extension skills — collaborating with Anianne Rivera to teach the Cease & Desist method, a system reshaping how stylists install and colour extensions.
Day One: Look & Learn
On June 22nd, the event opened with a Look & Learn session — a hands-on demonstration guiding attendees through a full Cease & Desist install, step-by-step. Attendees saw both forms of beadwork in action, learned expert cutting techniques, and watched styling and professional photography methods designed to highlight the finished work. A standout feature of the training was the technique of colouring wefts while installed on the head — an approach that ensures a seamless, custom blend for each client, creating more natural-looking extensions.
Day Two: Hands-On Workshop
Day two, June 23rd, was all about putting skills into practice. The Hands-On workshop gave attendees the space and guidance to refine their technique — practising installing wefts using the Cease & Desist method on a mannequin, perfecting colouring skills both on and off the head, and receiving personalised coaching and feedback from top industry experts.
Hosted at the Vibe Extensions Lounge in Nephi, Utah, the two-day event offered attendees the chance to connect with top educators, learn cutting-edge techniques, and refine their hairdressing skills. The Cease & Desist method is designed for stylists ready to elevate their skills and transform the way they install and colour extensions — equipping them with the tools to deliver premium, long-lasting results that set them apart.
