Micro-Tied Weft Extensions

Our signature YL Micro-Tied Weft Extensions combine the flexibility of hand-tied wefts with the durability of machine-made wefts, creating hair extensions that are lightweight, discreet, long-lasting and comfortable. Designed to lie flatter against the scalp, they can also be cut along the seam without shedding or compromising the integrity of the weft.

The method

Our signature Hidden Bead Method is an exclusive installation technique that sews wefts to a comfortable, evenly distributed beaded track along the scalp.

By concealing the beads in betwen the wefts, this method makes your extensions virtually undetectable.

Aftercare

YL Extensions can last up to 12 months with the correct aftercare and maintenance. To get maximum longevity, follow these four essentials.

Products

Use products that are free from sulphates, parabens and proteins.

Heat Styling

Avoid using heat over 180°C / 350°F.

Brushing

Use the YL Detangler Brush before and after washing, and the YL Extensions Brush throughout the day.

Sun Protection

Avoid sunscreens with avobenzone and octocrylene, suntan lotions and yellow coloured oils or serums. Opt for a mineral-based sunscreen or clear oils instead.
