The Online Certification with 1:1 Mentorship is designed for stylists with weft experience who are ready to refine their craft, master advanced techniques and gain access to the YL Stylist Professional Shop upon certification. The program is self-paced and task-based, with practice work submitted to your YL Educator for personalised feedback leading to final certification.

Absolutely! You can upgrade to an in-person training session at any time. Just pay the difference between the online certification and in-person course.
Many stylists start online, then opt for a hands-on approach once they've had some practice.
If you don't yet have solid weft experience, you'll need to complete the online certification with 1:1 mentorship or the in-salon training and receive final approval from our education team. This ensures you feel confident delivering consistent, high quality results for your clients and uphold the YL brand standards.
Stylists who complete their certification and are approved by our Education team will be eligible to be listed on the YL Stylist Locator Map. This is our way of spotlighting certified professionals who represent our brand and method with integrity and skill.
