We recommend practising on a mannequin first, then a live model once you are confident with sectioning, mapping and stitch control.

Only graduates of the Certification Pathway receive a digital certificate and placement in our certified stylist directory.

Absolutely! You can upgrade to an in-person training session at any time. Just pay the difference between the online certification and in-person course.

Many stylists start online, then opt for a hands-on approach once they've had some practice.

If you don't yet have solid weft experience, you'll need to complete the full online certification with 1:1 mentorship and receive final approval from our education team. This ensures you feel confident delivering consistent, high quality results for your clients and uphold the YL brand standards.
